Pursuant to the pertinent rules and procedures governing the acquisition and distribution of private agricultural lands under
Republic Act (R.A.) No. 6657, as amended by R.A. No. 9700, may we submit a report on the failure/refusal of qualified agrarian
reform beneficiaries (ARBs) included in the master list to sign the Application to Purchase and Farmer’s Undertaking (APFU) .
The concerned ARB/s had been notified by this office to attend a meeting to discuss the importance of the signing of the APFU and
the subsequent swearing-in before a municipal or city judge. Likewise, they were informed that they had thirty (30) days from
receipt of the letter/notice to report to this office and sign the APFU, and the consequences of their inaction on the matter.
However, despite the said notification, the ARB/s still failed/refused to sign the APFU within the thirty (30) day prescribed period.
Hereunder is/are the name/s of qualified ARBs in the master list of ARBs who failed to sign the APFU and for whom the BSC will have
to identify and select other qualified ARB/s as replacement/s of the said ARB/s:
